The mission and goal for Foundation House is to provide a safe place where men can grow and learn to take self-responsibility for recovery by creating a network of support. To develop a new way of life by making essential, long-term changes.
If you or someone you know needs our help, we are here for you. The Vancouver Islands Addiction Recovery Society's Foundation House is the next step after treatment for men to regain their lives.
Foundation House is a supportive recovery home for men who need help with addiction. To chose a path in recovery and live a life of complete abstinence is not easy to do alone. Foundation House is here, so you don't have too. We provide professionaly trained staff, 24hr on call staff support, one-on-one counseling, group therapy, individualized goal planning, life skills, mentorship and advocacy.
All residents/clients have the option for 2 year occupancy for those in need. Foundation House is centrally located to downtown Victoria, NA/AA meetings, out-patient therapy, colleges, transit and much more.
Foundation House is goal orientated to help men regain their lives and become a productive part of society and their family's with the freedom to work, gain a post-secondary education or volunteering in the community.
